Mercury Desktop vs Mercury Browser
Mercury desktop is created slightly differently to the browser version and allows integration with Microsoft Word so you can edit documents on the fly.
Mercury Desktop can be downloaded and installed on both Mac and Windows computers (including Windows 8 and 8.1).

Note: If you are running a server, please use the same installation file.
Trouble Updating the Desktop Version
If you face troubles installing or updating Mercury, follow the instructions below.
Follow these steps if you are trying to update your Mercury Desktop version and receive an error "Installer File Damaged":
Press the Windows key, and click Control panel (type 'control panel' if you are using Windows 8).
Click Uninstall Programs.
This will list your installed programs. Find Mercury Desktop, and click Uninstall.
- Re-install Mercury.
