You can enable or disable Opportunity types according to your business needs. This helps to streamline your CRM database and keep it clear of data that is not relevant to your business. For example, if you do not provide Financial Planning and Accounting services, you can disable these Opportunity types. This will stop data and fields associated with these Opportunity types from displaying in Mercury.
NOTE: It is not possible to create (or change the name of) Opportunity types.
Enabling or disabling Opportunity Types
- In the Admin tab, select CRM Settings in the left-hand panel.
- Click on Opportunity Types.
- Tick or untick the checkboxes next to each Opportunity Type to suit the needs of your business. Click Ok.
- Note that not all accounts will have access to edit this list. You may need to speak to your Principal Owner for changes in your CRM.
