If you decide to cease business arrangements with Connective, there is a requirement to provide us with 30 days written notice of your intention to terminate the Full Member Agreement. Written notification should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please also send a notification to your Broker Support Manager.
If an associate member is leaving your business, a principal owner can remove a loan writer via the Membership Centre in Mercury Nexus. Refer to How to remove a Loan Writer for further instructions.
Individual loan writers may be able to be resigned prior to the end of the notice period if all requirements outlined below have been met.
Part of the resignation process is to conduct an exit audit of random files within Mercury. Everything relating to a client’s application needs to be in Mercury before you leave us.
Compliance and Supporting Documentation
As per the mandatory requirements since being appointed as a Connective Credit Representative all compliance and supporting documentation must be held within each client file in Mercury. This provides evidence that you are meeting your responsible lending obligations and compliance requirements.
Where we are missing information, we will provide you with corrective actions via Mercury. Each corrective action must be resolved by loading the required documentation/information into Mercury. Once we ensure your account is up to date and all corrective actions have been completed the resignation process can be finalised.
Unfortunately, we are unable to resign you until all corrective actions have been completed. Delays in not completing the corrective actions may result in additional fees and charges as outlined in your Connective agreement.
If applicable, a separation Letter will be provided directly to the aggregator the broker is going to.
If you have any question relating to the resignation process please contact email@example.com
