This article explains what Lodge to Connective is and when this feature should be used.
What is Notify Connective
Each month, Connective receives commission payments from lenders that are automatically allocated to lenders and payees. This is an automatic process, and if there is a need to raise a Commission Enquiry to chase up a commission payment, the Notify Connective function in Mercury is a helpful tool.
Lodging a loan
Clicking Notify Connective from an Opportunity creates an entry in the Lodgement section of the Commissions tab. This gives our Commissions team a record of your submitted loans in case of missing payments. Think of Notify Connective as a fail-safe, just in case your commission payments aren't matched automatically.
You do not need to Notify Connective to receive commissions. Commission payments are automatically paid each month regardless of if you Notify Connective.
If you click the Notify Connective button by mistake there is no need for concern! You can either leave this as it is or update it at a later date. These cannot be deleted (it is not necessary to delete them).
The majority of commissions are automatically assigned, however, there is a small number that is not (called orphan payments). Our Commissions Team go through these orphan payments each month and assign them to the correct loan accounts. The Notify Connective button will create an additional link between the loan and the Commissions tab that will assist our Commissions Team to link these payments up.
