How will I know when a file review has been completed?
When the Compliance Team has completed a review, you will receive an email advising this has been undertaken and whether or not there are corrective actions which require your attention.
How do I access my review?
Your file reviews are fully integrated into Mercury 5 and Mercury Nexus. Simply log in to your Mercury via the browser (the file reviews may not be visible in Mercury desktop) and choose the Compliance tab. This is the same tab where your CPD register is located. Once a review has been completed, it will be visible here. Watch our quick webinar on accessing your review and closing your corrective actions in Mercury 5.
How do I access the corrective actions?
When you access the review in Mercury 5/Nexus, under the Compliance tab will be a copy of the review and any corrective actions which are required.
How long do I have to complete the actions?
Corrective actions are required to be completed within seven (7) days from the date you are notified the review has been completed.
What if I don't understand a corrective action?
If you don't understand what is required from a corrective action, simply contact your local Broker Support Manager or Compliance Support Manager for more information. Alternatively, email firstname.lastname@example.org
What happens if I miss the deadline for corrective actions being due?
If you are away from the office and not able to complete your actions in the time frame required, please contact your Compliance Support Manager as soon as possible.
How often are reviews completed?
Your next review will be determined by the results of your last review and could occur every 3, 6 or 12 months.
I used to do a quarterly self-assessment, is that required?
There are no quarterly self-assessments required under Connective's new review program. Connective will email you a short questionnaire to complete annually. This questionnaire will commence in approximately 6 months’ time.
What if I don't know who my Compliance Support Manager is?
If you have not yet had the pleasure of meeting your local Compliance Support Manager, their contact details will be included in the review. Alternatively, if you need our help simply email email@example.com

Who can I contact for more information?
Both your Broker Support Manager and Compliance Support Manager will be more than happy to help you navigate the new system and assist with corrective actions. Simply get in contact with your Support team - that's why we all have Support in our titles!
What does MARS stand for?
MARS is an acronym for the Mercury Assurance Review System. The system is designed to align to NCCP, Connective Credit Representative requirements, BID and ensure good consumer outcomes. The file review will therefore not only cover off the NCCP disclosure documentation, but also Connective's mandatory supporting documents, responsible lending requirements, and use of Mercury 5 and Mercury Nexus.
