Zapier is an online automation tool that connects Mercury with your favourite apps, such as Gmail, MailChimp, and Salesforce to name just a few.
What does Zapier do?
With the Mercury connector on Zapier, you can connect Mercury with other apps to automate repetitive tasks without relying on developers to build the integration.
As an example you could create a workflow that automatically moves contacts between Mercury and Google, so you can focus on your most important work. It's easy enough that anyone can build their own app workflows with just a few clicks!

What is a Zap?
Zaps are the workflows; the set of instructions that tell each app what it needs to do, and when. Zaps are created in Zapier, linking two or more apps together. Zaps contain Triggers, Searches, and Actions.
Trigger: Triggers watch for events in your app, then kick off a sequence of Searches or Actions.
Search: Searches look up existing data.
Action: Actions create new items.
Together they complete your task for you - without having to lift a finger!
What is a Task?
Each piece of data you run through your Zap counts as a task. That means if your Zap syncs 100 contacts to your google account automatically, your Zap just performed 100 tasks.
Note: the number of tasks your Zaps runs will determine what Zapier plan is best for you.
