Sometimes you may be presented with errors whilst using Mercury. The following article provides example of these errors, what each code means and what you can do to resolve them.
This usually relates to the Person or Company record that is being edited or is attached to the Opportunity. The most common cause is the phone number type (Home, Business, Mobile etc) is selected more than once. Make sure each type is only present once.
Your Mercury Desktop application is out of date. You will need to download and reinstall Mercury Desktop from the wiki
Or alternatively access Mercury via your browser where you will never be required to update.
The data you are trying to copy in is too large. Most common scenario is pasting in a large volume of html text into a Note or the Notepad section.
This error relates to permissions. Most common is in the Manage Users section. Login to Mercury again and you should then be able to make your changes
You are no longer connected through inactivity or your connection has been interrupted. You will need to login to Mercury again.
