The Client Centre allows you to send your client's documents electronically. Under current legislation you are required to gain consent from your client's for them receiving some of those documents electronically.
So that you can maintain a seamless process in the Client Centre we have implemented a built-in consent prompt that allows your clients to select how they receive important documents from you.
How the new feature works
If disclosure documents on your opportunity are enabled on the Client Centre tab, your clients are initially prompted to indicate how they would like to receive their documents. The prompt reads:
Your client has two options to receive the documents:
(1) download
(2) receive via email
Note: This will appear when you access the portal via Client Centre but you are unable to select a radio button. Only the client accessing via the invitation can make the selection.
Once the client has made their choice, a note will be attached to the opportunity recording your clients response.
Note: If the client wants to receive their documents via email, it’s important you send them promptly and retain a copy of the email in the notes section of the opportunity. You also need to ensure the Credit Proposal Disclosure is signed and the risk and insurance declaration ticked.
