Because we provide disclosure documents in Word format you can easily customise them to suit your own business circumstances. For example, you might be a new broker and you need to edit the lender mix disclosures because you haven’t received any commissions yet, or you might want to apply the look and feel of your own branding to your disclosure documents.
The sections below show you how to bring your own style to the documents you issue from Mercury and Nexus.
To customise your document templates:
1. Download the Master template from Admin>>Documents>>Merge Templates
Credit Guide: Our Lender Panel
For new credit representatives only your top six lenders will not appear because there is no settlements history to draw from.
You will need to remove below highlighted tagging and insert ‘N/A’

Remove red text below.
For new Connective credit representatives ONLY: Please remove below highlighted section (Lenders / % settlements and number of lenders used) and add the following disclosure statement.
‘Please note that I became a Credit Representative of Connective Credit Services Pty Limited on <INSERT DATE>, therefore, there is no settled loan data for the financial year 2019-2020.’
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to revisit this section once the new financial year begins as your prior year’s settlements data will become available.
Panel lenders data
How to select and maintain the lenders you currently hold accreditations with.
Within Mercury 5> Admin tab > My Details section select ‘Credit Guide Accreditations’
Tick the boxes that relate to Lenders you hold accreditations with and select the ‘SAVE’.
Preferential service offerings and programs
If you do not have tiered servicing arrangement with any lenders, please remove the below highlighted section.
You should also make the same change in your Preliminary Assessment template.
If do you have any tiered servicing arrangements with lenders, please remove the sentences indicated by the arrows below and list the relevant lenders then change the text colour to black.

Credit Guide and Privacy Consent:
For Connective credit representatives, this document will be required when conducting a credit check on behalf of your customer.
Credit Guide and Privacy Disclosure Statement:
If a credit check is not undertaken, please use this version of the Credit Guide.
Tagging has been included in the ‘Overview’ section of the Privacy Disclosure Statement that will pull across the details of the Full Member’s business entity name and ABN when generated.
Under ‘Your right’s’, we have included tagging that will populate you address details. Please review these details to ensure they are correct.
Optional:
Connective credit representatives can also hard code this section via manually inserting the contact details for the Privacy Officer who is responsible for your business’s privacy related matters.
Once all the above sections have been completed save this version of your Credit Guide to a location which is easy to find.
2. To upload document:
Click Add
Click Browse to choose document then click Open.
Once you have located your document, you will see two drop down boxes.
First drop down box – Select – Loans Compliance
Second drop down box – Select – Credit Guide
For the Loans Compliance folder, an additional drop-down will appear where you can select the document type - Credit Guide, Credit Proposal Disclosure, Provision of Referral Services or Quote
You have uploaded your document successfully and it will appear in the Merge Template folder for future use.
We recommend you test the document through a test opportunity to ensure there are no issues. If you do need more help contact your Broker Support Manager or the Compliance Team.
